You´re collapse-aware. Now what?

๐ŸŒฟ You’re awake and aware of our colliding crises.

You recognize the urgency of our predicament, and you´ve been processing it for a while now.

You´re longing to turn your grief and anger into a meaningful response.  But what?

๐ŸŒฟ This is collapse-forward living.

A grounded, creative way of being human in a world that’s unraveling.

I’m Maya—an educator, writer, futurist, and breakthrough strategist working with individuals who are navigating personal and planetary collapse.

I have helped clients in 20+ countries transform despair into energy and action to protect the people and places they love.

Collapse—with all its anguish and heartbreak—is also a threshold.

I’m here to help you move through it with curiosity and courage.

What I offer is not therapy or coaching.
It’s something older and deeply human: companioning.

I walk with those ready to stop waiting and worrying and start creating and living in aligned ways now.

Turn your awareness of what’s ending into energy for what’s emerging.

๐ŸŒฑ What Changes When We Work Together

People come to me feeling stuck, scattered, or silently panicked.

They leave feeling:

๐Ÿ”ถclearer about what matters

๐Ÿ”ถsteadier in their bodies and choices

๐Ÿ”ถmore imaginative about the future

๐Ÿ”ถless alone in their awareness

๐Ÿ”ถmore creative in their responses

๐Ÿ”ถdeeply rooted to place and community

Each individual imagines, designs, and initiates a project that is uplifting and unifying.

Oh,  it can all come together in about a month.

(Yes, really.)

¨I was already feeling so much loss after my divorce. Then, my dad died. That´s when I let the knowledge of collapse in.

It split me open. I knew I needed a new path.

Maya´s process helped me reclaim my choices. I committed to big changes, and took action immediately. I quit my job, sold my Manhattan apartment, and moved to a two-bedroom cottage on two acres. It has enhanced every thought, every action, every relationship.

I have a simple small-town life now, but it feels so much richer."

Michael - former media consultant, now founder of a local conservation program

¨I lost the job I had loved for twenty years. I spent months at home, watching terrible news. I hit rock bottom, fearing for myself and the world.

Maya guided me through a creative re-imagining process that led to being offered an amazing new role!

I honestly believe that this experience with Maya saved my life.¨

Maria - former events producer, now director of a community-building organization

My daughter and I couldn´t agree about the future of our stores. Maya helped us design a plan we both love. We are so grateful!

Teresa, third-generation business owner

Geting laid off was humbling. Working with Maya revealed options I never would have imagined. This new role is deeply fulfilling.

Dan, non-profit founder

Maya showed me that I had the skills to start the project close to my heart. It has been such a joy to begin this new chapter!

โœจ My Story (The Short Version)

I’ve lived through my own collapses—personal, spiritual, existential.
Early abuse. Multiple losses.

Grief that rearranged me at the molecular level.

What I learned:

Collapse introduces you to the truest version of yourself.

I have walked with over 200 individual clients around the world.

For me, this work is not theoretical, academic, or even chosen.

It is what I was born to do.

I may be an accidental grief worker, but it is my calling.

¨I was targeted and harrassed by a citizen upset about his taxes. Even a restraining order did not prevent him from lurking nearby and terrorizing us.

I got to the point where I could barely look at my kids without getting weepy. It felt impossible to protect them.

Maya helped me pour my fear, anger, and resentment into loving action. She offered support as I moved with my children from the U.S. to France. I feel safe, calm, and happy here, with a loving community and work I adore. My children are thriving! I am so thankful for this new life.¨

Lisa - former county administrator, now owner of a natural foods store

¨I was feeling hopeless about my divided city and the loss of funding for life-saving programs.

Maya´s warm (and funny!) guidance helped me turn my advocacy work into something far more local and personal. Bringing the focus to my own neighborhood allowed me to help those I actually see, and develop a strong web of support. I feel grounded now.¨

Nicole - former national director for a non-profit, founder of a new community program

๐ŸŒ” Collapse cracks us open, but it also reveals hidden gifts.

Let´s find the ones that are right there waiting for you.

When I was a child, my grandmother taught me about the power of marigolds as companion plants in the garden, keeping aphids, tomato worms, and squash bugs away.

She told me, "Marigolds are friends that help other plants grow strong."

Because what I offer is wise and creative companioning rather than coaching or counseling, I use marigolds as a beautiful symbol of this collaborative work.

I spent the pandemic stuck in a studio apartment in Buenos Aires for months during one of the longest and strictest lockdowns in the world.

I knew there were people who were suffering terribly all over the world.

And I longed to help.
